Managing timelines

Creating a Timeline

  1. Navigate to your project folder and click Add new item → Timeline.

  2. Name your timeline meaningfully.

  3. Drag one or more sequences into it.

Each sequence becomes a track that defines how load evolves over time.

Editing the load profile

  1. Double-click on a track line to add waypoints.

  2. Each waypoint defines a time (in seconds) and number of virtual users.

  3. You can type values directly into the load ramp section:

    • Example:

      • Start: 0s – 0 users

      • End: 120s – 2000 users

  4. Add intermediate points to model gradual ramp-up, spikes, or dips.

Customizing Performance Thresholds to meet your needs

Click inside the Performance Level Thresholds box to modify boundaries. Simply double-click on the upper end of a threshold to change the range.

Example

By default, Performance comes with Satisfactory as being from 0 to 250ms.

Click on the 250 number, and edit it to your desired level. Performance will automatically update the starting threshold of the next performance zone.

Regional and User configuration

Each sequence or track can have:

  • A Geographic location (for example, Brazil South, Southeast Asia, or East US).

  • Authenticated users sourced from your AD Users data item.

  • The number of users to pull for authentication.

Useful buttons available on the Timeline overview

  • Add Track: Insert another layer of concurrent actions.

  • Distribute Heights: Rebalance the display vertically.

  • Zoom to Fit: Adjusts the entire timeline to your screen width.

  • Clear History: Removes cached execution results.
