Execution Input

The Execution Input block is used to provide input into a Sub-flow. It defines the execution input that will be available wherever the sub-flow is used in your test.

The Execution Input block shows the following properties:

Note: The screenshot on this page uses the Elegance Design, introduced in 2025.3. If you are using an earlier version, your layout may look different.

Quick-start

  1. Drag Execution Input onto the canvas.

  2. Connect the block’s header output connector to the first block in the sub-flow that should receive the execution input.

  3. Run the flow when it’s ready.

Building block parameters

Parameters
  • Block header: The green output connector in the header is used to define the input execution. Connect it to the first block of the sub-flow that can receive input. When the sub-flow is used elsewhere in a test, the execution input defined here is available through this block. You can rename the block by double-clicking the header text and typing a new title.
